The kitchen and other milestones

Yesterday was a day of milestones. The exact price for the house was defined and signed off - just € 220 over budget :-). The bank guaranteed the payment in defined instalments at certain milestones to Hanse Haus. And the deeds for the plot arrived. And we picked our kitchen.

It will be white with a slate working top (not real slate obviously) to match the tiles on the floor. Here are some photos from the CAD programme to give you a rough idea of what it will be like. There are LED lights below the hanging cupboards. After 2 and a half hours, we weren't sure who won the battle of the Euros. I think we may have after the salesman spoke to his head of dept. and the head of dept. rang head office...
